So whats up with the SUPER HIGH PRICES I sometimes see on ebay, I just saw a AX100U "new in box" with a Buy It Now price of 2,999.00.
The seller looks legit and has good ratings so it dont look like a scam, other than the price.

Do sellers like this really think people are that supid ?

Does anyone ever fall for these insane prices ?

Does anyone ever email the sellers just for fun and tell them of their insanity (like I just did).

I've been looking at a number of projectors on some of the local used sites (Ottawa Canada) and it's CRAZY! I've seen a Panny AE700 with 1,000 hours on the bulb -- $1,999; Sanyo Z2 with 800 hours -- $1,699; a 'new' Sanyo Z4 -- $2,600.

People assume that buyers will check out the brick and morter shops, see the outrageous prices and think that they are offering a great deal. Once people learn about the internet shops, projector buying become a whole new -- and MUCH cheaper experience!
