First time projector owner. Is there a way to figure out how much of a drop to mount a projector? I had the projector on a ladder as I painted my screen and ran cables and picture was fairly straight. I mounted it to the ceiling with a monkeyman DIY mount and 6" drop pipe, so that it is now probably 8-9" below the ceiling and I am getting some pretty severe keystoning with the top of the screen pinched in. The ladder was probably close to 6-9" lower than where the PJ is now. I assume it is too high and am going to buy a longer pipe to lower it. Is there a way to figure out the proper length of pipe other than trial and error? I'll just buy a couple and return what doesn't work, but it would be good to know.

Here are the particulars --
7'8" ceilings
127" diag 16x9 screen, top is 6" below ceiling
Throw distance is 13'6"

You should not need keystone correction since there is enough lens shift in the AX200 for this position (my setup is very similar).

You have tilted the projector down and that is why there is keystone. Level the projector. You will be able to tell it is level because the image will be square. When you do this, some of your image will be on the ceiling. There is a lens shift knob on the front of the unit. Twist counter clockwise to unlock and you can move the image so that it aligns with the screen. You may need to make slight adjustments with the zoom. Lock the lens shift back into place.

If the lens shift is at the end (should not be with the setup you have given) then you can angle the projector down and use the digital keystone correction in the setup menu.

Read the manual for more details.
