So I do not have a mount for my flat panel TV yet, right now still doing research on good ones with lots of options (pull out, tilt, swivel) that don't cost $300. Anyway the center channel speaker I just got it quite large, and the bottom of my TV has maybe an inch or two covered by the center channel when placed on bottom in front of the TV...so it looks quite bad (Although sounds good). I'm not home to try it out yet. But i'm thinking about placing the center channel behind the TV perhaps? or would that just sound horrible cus the TV would be blocking the speaker? I would place the center channel on top..except I think the speaker depth is more than the LCD TV depth so i may have problems keeping the center channel on top..any ideas on what I can do until I get a TV mount? I don't think placing the center channel on the coffee table will fit the WAF.

I wouldn't worry so much about what you do in the interim. I would worry more about getting a mount that allows you to properly place your center channel speaker. That is the one where the WAF is most important. Between now and Christmas when you are likely to have guests over I would take out the center channel and tell your system it doesn't have a center channel so that it synthesizes it with your front left and right. That would probably be the most pleasing solution to the wife. Putting the speaker behind the Flat Panel doesn't make any sense at all.

Yeah You're probably right. Putting the channel behind the TV would just sound horrible...on top may be decent, but I doubt the TV could hold the speaker unless I did some kind of ghetto duct tape to hold it..and that sure hell won't fly either. Thanks.
