I already have a PC-Ultra, 12 inch model. I believe its the TV-12 driver.
what if I got an PB-12 ultra, same driver and co-located them, by stacking the cylinder on top of the Box? Think it would work? Probably would look a bit weird but I think I could deal with it....
Thoughts and opinions?

If my wife came in and saw something like that in the room, she would probably kick me in the face.
I am getting a second PB12/Plus this week, and will barely be getting away with that.

It may not look pretty, but there is no reason it shouldn't work fine if you tune them the same.

You could sell your TV12 and get a PB Ultra 13 in a nice Oak cabinet :)

Go for PC13U and have dual cylinder subs. Will definitely look better.

But wouldn't they technically be unmatched? Since they really aren't identical?
TV-12 and the new PC-13....not sure how well they would work together...
I guess I could sell the PC-Ultra. but I really don't want to lose $400.00 on the thing...seems like they sell for about $700.00 range on ebay.

Trust me, I've thought about it...but I really don't want to lose alot of money on the PC-Ultra...its only 2 years old...
The reason I brought up the original topic is because I saw a PB-Ultra going for about $750.00 in gloss black used...seemed like a pretty good deal.
But then again, I think of selling the PC-Ultra and maybe going with an Epik Castle or ED...

Check with Ed @ SVS to be sure but I believe that the Ultra Digs deeper and can fill out the lower end while the TV-12 is a better performer higher up. Properly calibrated, this pair should sound pretty darn good.
