I think one of the problems I have is a mix of newer technology and some older ones. Mainly the tivo 2, will this allow me to watch HD programming since it's not the hd tivo model?
Would I still need to get a hd cable box from comcast?

Here's all the system components:
TV- Samsung ln-t4042h
DVR- Tivo series 2 model tcd649080
Receiver- RCA rt2600
DVD player- JVC xv-n5
Original Xbox

I need help with the hookup of all of the these items. The RCA receiver has all the normal rca inputs and digital inputs for caxial, optical 1 and optical 2. DVD player does have component available, no HDMI.

I could use some help and direction.
