I got a used AE700 from a friend and had some questions in regards to getting it hooked up.

Right now I am using my laptop until I get my HTPC built. I watch movies using a VGA connector.

This aspect ratio deal is really throwing me off because I just bought a 16:9 screen and would really like to keep things fit to the screen.

When I watch using VGA I know the native is like 1024 x 768 which is a 4:3 ?

I usually set my laptop VGA to what my dell monitor runs when I need 16:9 which is 1680 x 1050... is this OK? Should I just leave it like this?

I know the next option is using DVI to HDMI cable and connecting the projector using that. I was reading on the tweak thread and saw some people were having problems with that...

Whats the best way to connect this projector for SD and or HD playback using a computer... and if I use VGA , what rez should I be using for best PQ.
