Has anyone had any experiences with any of the SpeakerCraft Subwoofers, specifically the BaseX Dual 6 or 8?
My room is 14'x18' with 8' ceilings and one open wall which leads to a small kitchen (10'x10'). Becuase of the placement of my Plasma, an installer is recommending 6 SpeakerCraft 7 Two In-Ceiling Speakers and a BassX Dual 6 subwoofer. I like the speakers but have not been able to find any information or reviews about the subwoofer.
Is the BassX Dual 6 good and will it be sufficient for my room? Or should I upgrade it to a Dual 8 or another subwoofer?
My receiver is a Yamaha RXV1800 and my budget for a subwoofer is between $400 & $600. I like the small size of the SpeakerCraft Mini Subwoofer but going larger is not a problem.
