I'm looking to upgrade my subwoofer in a basement home theater. I currently have a BIC HT-100 and after reading reviews on this board, I'm thinking of going with the ED A5-350. My basement is roughly 5000 cubic feet and carpeted. Will the A5-350 be enough bass for that cubic footage? Does it matter that the A5-350 is downfiring into the carpet? Will that degrade the bass throughout the room? Should I look for a comparable Front Firing Sub? The use will be about 50/50 for HT and Music.
