New user to the Forum and I have a couple questions about hooking my Optoma EP719 to an Xbox 360 through a reciever. What I am basically trying to do is connect an xbox 360 up through a receiver and get it to display HD picture through my EP719. I connect my EP719 to the Harman/Kardon receiver using an HDMI-DVI cable. I connect the DVI from the projector into the HDMI input on my receiver. I then connect the Xbox to the receiver using component cables. The xbox is supposed to be able to project HD image at 720p and the EP719 is supposed to be able to project 720p. Is there some problem hooking my component cables from the xbox and converting it to HDMI/DVI with the projector? I do not have an Xbox 360 elite, so my Xbox does not have HDMI cables. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any comments please leave them. Thanks All
