Along those same lines...

I just bought some Monster cables at a CompUSA that is being liquidated. I purchased a 1m set of 3 cables that are marketed as being for component video (THX V100CV), and a 1m pair that is marketed as audio interlink (300 MKII).

I have a new Rotel 5ch amp on the way, that I will connect to the pre-outs on my Marantz 7200 receiver.

These cables appear to be of good quality. Does anyone know of any reason why I cannot use these cables for the 5ch connection? Thanks!
