Which will perform better with sd dvd's and a nintendo wii? marantz vp4001 or a panasonic ax200?

I will also use it for direct tv hd and will probably buy an hd-dvd or blu-ray and an oppo upconvert if necessary. thanks.

The VP4001. The Panny can't touch it for black levels and contrast and the processing is pretty good too.
