I picked up my 5K the other day from BB (it was the only one in the store, high up on a shelf and the staff didn't know they had one)...
I have read where some people scored free DVDs with their 5K purchase while others have not mentioned it...
For those of you who walked out of BB with free DVDs, how did you know that free DVDs were available, and which ones could you pick from?

When I bought mine, a window popped up on the clerks screen that said I get free movies, and that I can choose from a list.
I guess this happens when you buy a Blue-Ray player....
however, the clerk said that there was a mail in coupon in the box for the movies, there isnt in the 5K box.
I did get a clerk to sign the receipt and he told me to come back and check with him if there wasnt a mail in coupon.
I'll see how that goes on Thurs.

When I bought my 5000 from BB, I saw on the pop up screen that you get a combination of 4 Blu-ray and HD-DVD titles. The sales people were clueless. One of the guys told me I was looking at the wrong section when I was looking at HD-DVD's. I asked another one who said he's still waiting for the 5000 to come in stock. Needless to say I was on my own.
Anyway, looked at the movies that come with the Samsung 1400 which are Warner Titles and went from there. I picked up Full Metal Jacket (HD-DVD), Training Day (HD-DVD), 300 (HD-DVD), and TMNT (Blu-ray). For some reason, the Full Metal Jacket (Blu-ray re-issue) wouldn't ring. There wasn't much rhyme or reason as far as which format I selected. I just wanted to get out of there. I might return some of the movies and get a few different titles after Christmas.
Got mine and screen popped up saying I get 4 free Blu Ray titles. However no list pops up and they cannot find one. At first they said since I get 4 free titles no 10% off. Well they found 2 titles that rang up free: Superman Returns and Spiderman 3. They could not find any other ones that would and they could not find a list of movies anywhere. At this point they offered the 10% off and the two movies that did ring up. I am HAPPY.
