Seems they like it better than the Sammy 5k.

The new deck supports output of multichannel PCM soundtracks on discs via its HDMI connection, but built-in decoding of lossless Dolby TrueHD soundtracks is limited to 2 channels, and it can only extract the core 1.5-Mbps DTS track from DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks.

Costs $999 with very limited audio support. Plus it only has BD Profile 1.0, who knows how Profile 1.1 will perform like. Not worth it, IMO.

Um, fact check.

I costs 799 if you look around (Crutchfield). Audio support is the same as the Samsung. Yes, it is a problem but it compares. And it "ONLY has 1.0"? Yeah so does every player sans the PS3 and Panasonic. So what? It is 1.1 and 2.0 capable with a firmware upgrade. The hardware is there. The discs however are not so why is it an issue?
