I just bought a 73" Mitsubishi 734 model - I'm I correct in assuming the current DLP chip still is not true 1080P (aka wobble) where as my "older" Sony SXRD did have true 1080P? And seems to have very little micro-blocking; I hope the new TV is as good?

Ohhh also does this model also have the faster colorwheel like Samsung talks about?

I really wanted to buy an other Sony - but I also wanted to upgrade the size to 70" range which Sony does not do (well at least in my price range)

thanks in advance

Yes that is a true 1080p resolution with wobulation.

Wobulation lets the pixels get placed right next to each other to completley eliminate any screen door effect. It makes the image look more feem like in my opinion.

Actually, the pixels overlap.

You can buy a HD test DVD and see whether your model displays a full 1920X1080i/p test pattern. Reviews of some 960X1080-DLP wobulated sets indicate not all can do this. Yup, virtually no HD programming provides an effective resolution (http://archive2.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=5667245&&#post5667245) requiring full 1080i/p effective resolution matching the format resolution. But some might prefer not having an ill-defined cutoff of higher resolutions. -- John
