I bought a US version DSM-520 on Ebay (used) and hooked it up wirelessly to my HT system. it has firmware 1.04 installed.
after a few days of flawless operation the blue power button led became dim and later went out completly. the remote control still powers it up although you dont know if its up until the display shows up on the TV.
any idea what is wrong ?
second, while playing audio files the unit froze twice and I had to disconnect the power cable to reset it. is this a known issue ? is it firmware related ??
is it worth upgrading to 1.05 although I will not us the TV feature?

Can the firmware be upgraded via the USB port ??
