I burn alot of standard def movies currently using Dvdshrink and DVD+R discs. However, i would like to start burning Bluray discs instead. My question is, what exactly do i need?

I assume i need a new burner for my computer that supports Blu-ray burning.
What kind of discs do i need?...Does dvdshrink still work or do i need something different now?...I also sometime use dvdfabdecrytper when i need to get around encryptions. Do i need something different for that?...

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

btw, the reason for the change is that i just got a new PS3 to go with my 130inch FP screen and i want to take advantage of this.

Do you want to back-up your Blu-ray's or do you want to back up your SD DVD's and put more than one title on a BD-R disc?

And yes, you will need a BD burner (~$400-$600). The blank BD-R's are about $16-$20 for the 25GB.

At least for the next few weeks

(and to be completely fair. BD+ and aacs only effect RIPPING bd's)
