I recently got this samsung HLT5076SX/XAA slim dlp. when it was deliverd via samsung the screen was damaged with spots , called samsung and they sent a tech to replace the screen .. mind you befor the screen was placed even though it was damaged the picture quality was perfect... after this tech left the picture quality got really bad the picture is very big both from top to bottom and left to right ,, i thought maybe it was my cable box setting but it wasnt so when i cliked the menu option on the samsung remote the menue screen where it says picture, map. sesttings were so stretched out the you couldnt even see the actual words .. iv tryed calling samsung many times even spoke to corperate department about this issue and all they keep saying is we can send another tech.. so i agreed ,,,,, the tech replaced a part called a balace why . I have no idea......, my tv screen still looks like im blind and cant see everything is so big its frustrating im not sure if anyone has this problem with the picture and the menue option .. iv tryed eveything and the techs keep saying its suppose to look that way .... guess thats there answer when they cant fix it .. my tv's future is in the hands of samsungs cut service hopefully they will replace it or give me back my 1400.00 whcih i doubt because in there world customers come last ..:mad::mad::mad:

As mentioned in the "official" xx76S thread (the /XAA is irrelevant to the model number), this model is a lemon. Get a refund and get out of this model.

Oh, and Samsung doesn't offer refunds. I tried that. They wouldn't do it. You'll have to get a refund from where you bought it.
