Ive got a Samsung HCN5527w 55" crt, I have it almost set up perfect, but I have a slight problem with blacks, on a black shading chart, (THX optimizer) the blacks have a slight blue tint to them, I cant get it to go away with color controls, how do I physically adjust it so the blacks are "absolute" black?

You probably need the service manual for that TV if you really want to adjust it yourself. CRTs have a bunch of adjustments, most of which are internal and not for end user use. You could also have a professional calibrator do it for you.
