So I am dissapointed in the VPL-VW200 specs. I thought for sure when I read the rumors about this "Sony Diamond" that the holy grail would finally arrive.

However $15k for a 800 lumen projector is just not something I am willing to do. :(

Basically it seems that the market is making us choose between two unpalatable options.

1) DLP: great brightness and picture quality, limited installation and room options, no vshift, weak zoom ability.

2) SXRD/LCoS: great flexible installation-many room options and picture quality, limited-poor brightness.

I want it all though! :D

When are we going to get a projector with the zoom and lens shift of a Sony SXRD combined with the lumen output of high end DLP?? (All for $10-15K??)
