Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think you should go with the 1.3 version. Why? I can't tell you, but that's what I was told. Got my 1.3 cable in just two days total from MP.

I picked up one for 13 cents off of a vendor on Amazon.com. They were called Eforcity or something like that. After shipping it was a hair over $5 for a 6ft HDMI cable.
