I was curious if dust blobs were an issue with the RS1? I'm considering both the JVC RS1 and the Panny AE2000, and the Panny appears to undoubtedly have dust issues.

If the RS1 has dust problems, to what degree compared to these Panasonic photos?

The RS1 panels are sealed from dust so you won't have the dust problems that you would have with many LCDs. I did have a G15 once that did get a dust blob on the panel while it was still under warranty. They replaced the whole image block. So even though it is sealed, dust might get in, but JVC will take care of it if it is still under warranty.
