I have just entered into HD by way of Xbox 360 add on. Out of the 9 Hd dvd's I have bought, 2 have had broken push buttons holding the disc's in. I have never had this problem with SD Dvd's, so why now do they use something cheaper on a new format they are trying to sell me on?
Any one else having these issues? Both came vis BB, one mailed to me, the other picked up. 1st was 300, 2nd was Shrek the 3rd.
I sure hope this isn't the norm.

I've had broken cases from all formats be it DVD, BD & HDDVD. Only Video game cases have ever been flawless (for me). My Blade Runner Blu-ray case right out of the shrink wrap came in abysmal condition, and being that it's a 5 disc case...not easily replaced :(

I've been having the same issues too. I think I have had 3 HD DVDs so far that have been broken straight out of shrinkwrap.
Does anyone know of any other places that have as good of a deal as the website above on empty cases but maybe have paypal checkout?
EDIT: Well nevermind on my question I guess. Upon doing a bit more searching this forum, it looks like everyone uses sleeve town for their HD DVD case replacements. Unless I see a different suggestion here in the next day or so, I'll probably end up ordering a 10 pack from sleeve town.

No double disc cases at sleevetown. I have one where the second spindle is borken so the disc flops around inside. Not good.

On another matter...I've starting to get a fair number of HD-DVD discs and still haven't run across a rack system made for them like you find for regular DVD's. Anyone know where they are found?

I have the ELF Media Storage rack and love it.

Does anyone sell the multi disk cases like the one the Blade Runner collection comes in?

Sony and Universal produces the best cases. Warner is the worst. U.K and OZ get the thicker cases which is the best as it's rock solid and doesn't break while transit.

I've had one like that (The Depahted I believe). The cases do seem cheaper overall and it feels like that could happen to any one of the HD DVD cases I have. I've only encountered that problem once with a SD DVD or game (can't remember which). Not a big deal but it'd be nice to see a little bit more durable construction.
And like Louisville S posted, I think that's about the only type of DVD rack you can get that will house them properly. I'm using one like this: http://s7.kmart.com/is/image/Sears/9990000006697711?hei=250&wid=250&op_sharpen=1&qlt=90,0&resMode=sharp&op_usm=0.9,0.5,0,0
and am just sort of resting the HD DVDs on top of my SD DVDs.
