As I understand it, the inability to send 1080P video signals utilizing component cables is one that has been placed on the manufacturers by the studios to reduce piracy as oppsed to technical limitations. Nonetheless, I cannot access the wall or ceiling in order to run HDMI cabling. Almost a year ago Philips announced its wireless HDMI product that was supposed to be released in May or fall of 2007 (depending on which report you read) but I've yet to see it or hear anything further about it. Since the only cabling link between my sources is component, I don't know of another solution but thought I would see if anyone has any suggestions of a solution before buying a BluRay or HD-DVD source.
