So, I just had my first ever won't work disc in my A20... Happy Feet. I went and picked it up for the wife for x-mas, saw the combo and non-combo version. Even though I've never had a problem with a combo I bought the non for some reason and what happens? It doesn't work, gives me a software error during the boot. LOL.... the combo gods got me good ;)

I've never had a single problem with my A20 either. Bad disc, get an exchange. :)

What exactly is the error it gives you, there may be a workaround?

Never disturb a sleeping child. Never disturb a busy wife.

Ok so message is right after the WB logo goes a box pops up that says "System Error" and the display on the front of the player reads "NOTPLAY".

Very odd, first time I've ever seen that. Doesn't freeze or anything, can just eject it and try it again, happens every time.

I'm getting tired of these error threads. There should be a master thread for people to post in. These take up far too much room, especially the annoying ones for every time a new combo disc is released. Knock it on the head!

The NOTPLAY error message I have worked around on a couple of discs. For whatever reason this error seems to be linked to the persistent storage. You need to go into the maintenance menu, enter persistent storage and delete your WB items. I usually will also delete ones that state "common user data" or something to that effect as well, but only if it is listed on the menu where it shows which studios content, not the content itself. I have had this error on 2 discs and both times deleting data from storage has corrected it. Give it a shot and let us know if this works.

Try upgrading that A20 to 2.8. I never had problems with combo discs for the most part until FW 2.7.
