I just ordered an RS2 from AVS. I currently have a 120" 4:3 format Da-Lite High Power Model B screen. I am planning to move to an electric 16:9, probably with the same material. I know this screen is very high gain, but given that I ceiling mount the projector, and based on comparisons with other screen materials, I am guessing my actual gain is about 1.7.

Assuming the 1.6 to 1.7 gain, I am wondering if the RS2 would work with a 119" screen? Does it have the lumens to support a screen of that size? My room is not dedicated, but it is painted with very dark colors and has a flat black ceiling so light control is pretty good.

My RS1 is good for 159" high power but it's mounted lower than you're planning to. The PJ sits at about 5'9" from the floor. The RS2 is a bit dimmer so you'd probably be good to high 130's with the PJ mounted on an extension bar from the ceiling to lower it down a bit closer to eye level.
