Based on some Googling and translating:

It appears to be a re-bagged W5000, so nothing really new. I do hope Mits sells this unit in the US though, as the W5000 is on my short list and increased distribution would be a good thing.

Yes, it does look like it, but I'm not quite sure - for example, one of the sites I found info on it listed power zoom, and 1050 lumens, both of which are different from the W5000 (no power zoom, 1200 lumens spec). Maybe the quoted specs are wrong and it is just an OEM of the Benq - or maybe tweaked, no idea. :confused:

Interesting. Would the Mits version be significantly cheaper? Does Benq support their machines better than Mits would?

I am thinking of getting the W5000 as soon as it's available, but am trying to determine what I may gain (if any) by waiting for the 3700. (I'm in the US)
