In the sharpness section of the review, the RS2 dts photo is out of focus?
Comparing the red-orange symbol and the TM mark, I'm seeing the AE2000 more sharp (but less bright). Another thing here: there is no large photo for the SONY (when I click on the small image it comes the RS2 pic)

Where are the measurements? Funny how all the reviews so far do not state any measurements of contrast ratio. This one even says the RS1 is its competition! I bet JVC drops the RS1 soon.

What is really confusing are all the reports of the sharpness of the RS2. A lot of people started off reporting the image as sharper than the RS1. But some others have said it is still "soft" like the RS1. Someone posted a comparison of the JVC (can't remember if it was the RS1 or RS2 now) vs the new Sony and the Sony was sharper. But Art's review states the RS2 is Sharper than the Sony! Yet he still calls the image sharpness of the new JVC "average."

Meanwhile, in his review of the Marantz VP-15S1 DLP projector, Shane C. Buettner compares it to the JVC, calling the JVC "tack sharp" and even more detailed than the Marantz. And the Marantz is a single chip 1080p DLP projector that has been lauded for it's image sharpness!

Who to believe?

Well you can take my opinion I was going to sell my JVC HD-100 but I just kept it..My first was a lemon but JVC replaced it this one is very good Black level is fantastic Shapness is better then my HD-1 convergance is ok not perfect but 1 chip DLP own the sharpness crown...

I was lost in the picture when I watched and rewatched my movies..Im still buying a Sony 200 tho I want to have both for a while and I will sell the one I think is less good IMHO ....Tj8xp............:)

I believe Shane said the apparent sharpness over the VP-151 was the result of the high brightness and contrast on the RS2. He could see the dimples in the DLP chip in the VP-15S1 up close, which is very sharp.

Since Art repored on the RS-2 greatly improved shadow detail, with more pop than the RS-1, similar to DLPs, I would love to know the ANSI contrast on the RS-2.
