Discovery Communications, parent company of Discovery Channel, has announced that the third season of documentary series Deadliest Catch will be available to own in high-definition on HD DVD, this January, for $59.95 SRP. You may pre-order/order the HD DVD set via the Discovery Channel Store. Date of retail store availability is still pending confirmation.

That's cool. They have awesome reality tv. Because it usually has a real story with real consequences unlike...(looking at you almost every other channel).

That and their cameramen are freaking awesome. Everything on Discovery has gorgeous shots. Deadliest catch is good whenever American Chopper isnt on, or maybe better period now that Vinnie is off the show(they spent 5 mins on it WTF??)
