Ok, I have been lurking for quite a while and I'm not exactly sure on one thing. I have always planned on getting an AVR with a good video processor but I have recently noticed that the HC6000 has the Reon processor... Do all projectors have good/great processors? If so, does anyone have a breakdown of all the 1080P projectors and their corresponding video processors? Why do the AVRs have video processors if all projectors have processors? I'm confused... Do I want the Reon processor from the Onkyo 905 or HC6000??? If everthing is processed equally by the vprs of the projector and the receiver...... what is the difference and why would anyone pick one over the other??? I would think the projector would be the ideal option because that is the last component before the output...

I wonder the same, why have I spent 2000 EUR in an Onkyo 905?
I hope there is a better reason than just because it has 2 hdmi out... Even though that was definetily a good reason. That and power, since my speakers are very demanding.
You can add the source to the equation. I have the PS3 and it also scales and processes SD to show it in 1080p.

What is better(regarding to video processing?

PS3 AVR PJ
on off off
off on off
off off on
on on on <<< this doesn't seem to make much sense, does it??
