One of the best hi-def concerts ever. The transfer is clean and the sound is amazing! Too many great songs to mention, I searched for this BR but had no luck! This should be a very popular BR!

Simply amazing. I love the Band, and I think this is a very good blu-ray disc. I just can't wait until my basement remoddling gets finished with our new uber set-up. This is the first thing I will watch/listen to.

well I did mean that it was easily the best in cat 5 given the choices in that category even if the transfer was only as good as the sd version

I haven't had a chance to view my BD version (didn't mean to give a false impression) yet but I'm sure it will be replacing my sd one

I picked it as one of my free ones and sold my SD copy. Then I remembered it will be months before I get the freebies! I should have waited to sell the SD! I do still have the DVD-Audio to tide me over though. :D

What do you guys who have fancy receivers and froofy speakers think of the sound? Right now my only speakers come from my TV, but my basement is being redone and we're getting a full 7.1 surround set-up. Is it a big improvement over CD/DVD/other stuf? Would it be a worthy canidate to be the first thing played in my new basement?

I love The Band.

I thought it was a nice upgrade from my SD copy. I especially noticed it during the interview sequences. For some reason I remember being especially impressed when I noticed the texture of a brown leather jacket, also the color of the lights.
