I'm looking for a wall mount kit so I can hang my Revel Gems on the wall. They will be used as rear surround speakers. Each speaker weighs around 40 lbs. There are mounting screw holes on the bottom. There are also two holes on each side where the side panels used to be.

I've been looking for various mounting options. Most speaker mounting kits are for small Bose style speakers that do not hold 40 lbs. I also looked at LCD mounts, and CRT TV mounts. Some of the CRT mounts from Omnimount looked promising. But the challenge is to find a bracket, as the holes for TV mounts are not compatible with the speaker.

I'm looking for good ideas and see what kind of options I have. The looks and finish is of high importance. Swivel or articulating arm is a plus.

If you know good custom installers in SF Bay Area (east bay is preferrable) who could make custom brackets, please share it with me as well.

Is it the GEM 2's Revel offers a wall mount option, the info on wall mounting them is in the appendix of the Gem 2 owners manual. Have you looked there? not sure if that is what you want or not.
Another option might be put them in columns on heavy shelves, especially if it is a dedicated theater
