The UFC has been filming their contests in HD for several years now and Dana White has been a big proponent of HD broadcasts when possible. So it was only a matter of time before they started releasing content in HD. Well, it looks like they have chosen to start with HD DVD. Excellent news for fight fans as MMA is definately a sport that benefits from increased definition.

Please note, the UFC's publisher is format neutral, so this is not a thread proclaiming a content win for HD DVD. This is just a thread from an MMA fan happy to see UFC come home on any HD format.

Sweet. I was impressed with there recent standard dvd releases. All were in 16 x 9 and great quality. Behind the scenes extra were also great. I'll definitely pick this up.

Just recieved an email from Amazon today saying that my UFC: The Best Of 2007 preorder has been canceled and the listing has been pulled.

It has also been pulled at DVDEmpire and First Look Studios' website.

Does anybody know anymore about what's going on? I was really looking forward to this.

I'd rather buy from Digital Underground, LOL!!
