Unfortunately, my first post here has to be one about a problem I noticed just recently. I have a 46 inch 71 series samsung TV, I love it by the way. This christmas i got a toshiba HD-A35 to pair with it, using a HDMI cable. I figured that now ive gotton into HD-DVD, i should go look around on the internet for some proper settings. i deceided to use the setting CNET used on their 71 series. i put in all the settings right, but when it said to put HDMI black level to "normal" i found that it was browned out and i could not highlight the option, just skip over it, and its stuck at "low" too. I found out that putting this option to normal should brighten up the picture, this is VERY important to me because I did notice most of the scenes in HD movies to be very dark.
so I call samsung to ask them about it, they said it was either a problem with the hdmi cable, or to call Toshiba and ask them about it. so i called toshiba, and they said that there should be nothing making the option on my tv unchooseable becuase of the DVD player, and they said it might be a problem with the HDMI cable too. so i got a new HDMI cable and it still dosnt work . so i've pretty much run out of options. any help?
btw, ive tried to change settings while watching an HDDVD and while not, no luck.

Max
