I remuxed Chicago a couple of days ago and found that the LFE channel is missing in the LPCM track. And the bass is also stripped out of the right and left front channels. All bass is actually put in the center channel. Is this really right?

What LFE momments are we talking about? And based on what? The DVD? I've never saw that, but I thought the bass was well balanced for a musical. The bass of the drum and upright sounded full and tunefull. Even the gunshots sounded realistic, with ample "kick" so I'm not sure what was missing.

I felt the same way about the PCM track on the Blu-ray version. I wouldn't have wanted the bass to sound any other way.
