Hi ALL,
Well, as I posted in the main Samsung 5000 thread, the squeaky wheel gets the oil. To date Samsung tech support has not gotten that many calls concerning the 5000 and its problems. I know the call in and of itself may seem like a waste of time, but the more calls that get logged by Samsung the quicker we may get a firmware update.
The call is very easy and there was almost no wait until I was able to speak to a human. Please call 1-800-SAMSUNG and ask the first level person to speak to a higher level tech support person. You should end up with a level 3 tech support person and should complain about the problems of disks not playing and no support for advanced audio codecs.
Then come here and vote in the poll so we can see how many calls went in.
