Purchased a powered splitter from monoprice:

I have a Panasonic HDMI 1.1 receiver with an HDMI in/out. Here's my hookup(all HDMI cables from monoprice)....6ft 28awg HDMI cable from satellite receiver output to splitter input. 25ft 26awg HDMI cable from splitter output to Panasonic receiver HDMI in. Panasonic receiver HDMI output to LG TV. Problem....no signal to TV and no light on splitter. Tried reset button on splitter, unplugging receiver, splitter, etc in many combinations with no luck. I took the receiver out of the mix (hooked 25ft cable from splitter directly to LG TV and receive signal just fine). Note I also have another 35ft 24awg cable from the splitter out running to another TV directly and works perfectly also. For the fun of it, I tried using the 35ft 24awg cable from the splitter to the receiver then to the TV and still no signal....figured perhaps a thicker cable may have done the trick but no luck.

Before I had this splitter, hooking the 25ft HDMI cable from the satellite box to the Panasonic receiver HDMI in, then Panasonic HDMI out to LG TV worked perfectly.

Since this is my only powered splitter and HDMI receiver, any ideas on which one may be at fault? All the testing I've done seems to narrow it down to either one (or maybe both?).

Thanks for any ideas/insight.
