hey guys... my room is under construction. the size is 17'4"w X 16'8"d... im trying to determine if i will be able to do 2 rows or not? i will be using a 100" screen and dont want to get too close with the front row. if i need to stick with just 1 row i would rather do that than squeeze in too close... i guess with one row i can make use of the bean bags! ceiling will be 9ft (if that makes a difference), and the ht is above the garage on the 2nd level...
thanks for any help....

Your best configuration will be a back row of Theater style non reclining seats and a front row of the plush reclining HT seats.

Depending on the model you will need about 5 ft for the back row riser. That would put your eyeballs at about 11 ft for the front row. You could actually get a bigger screen.

A riser for the Reclining HT seats need to be about 7 ft deep.

Keep in mind that having seats close to the back wall is less than ideal from a surround sound perspective. But if it's overflow seating....
