I am in the process of building a superchunk bass trap and Im going by Tweakophyte's design. I have cut out the OC703 triangles and am about to cut the woodboard however I want to make sure I have enough room for this FRK? panel..Is this something that is necessary or just used to flatten out the front better? Can someone please let me know what this panel is and where I can purchase one in a store or online? Thanks!

I think FRK is the facing material that is optionally available.

Is it something I can purchase seperately? If not, Is there anything I can put on the front of the trap before I put on the cloth to flatten out the front facing of the triangles better? I have a feeling that I will be able to see the yellow OC703 right through the cloth. I dont want to use something though that is going to disturb the absorption.
Are you sure it wasn't a FRP panel? That product is commonly used in wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. it stands for fiber reinforced panel. For some reason I don't think this what your looking for:)
I think FRK is the Foil Reinforced Kraft version of OC703 - has a shiny, foil on one side. Check with your distributor where you got the OC703, and they will be able to get the FRK version as well - it is more $$$ than plain.
Is it necessary? I'm not sure, but I recall some debate that if making a bass trap, you could use the foil side out towards the room to 'reflect' mids and highs, while still absorbing the bass. I didn't use FRK, as I wanted as much absorption as I could manage (using mineral wool instead).
Check the Acoustical Treatments Master Thread, and there may be some clarification over there whether to foil or not to foil....
