Just got the 5 disc BR version of Blade Runner and I have NEVER seen this movie. Which version should I watch first, second, third, etc....to get the most out of this movie experience?

I now like the original theaterical cut and the Final Cut equally. I would suggest watching the Final Cut if for no other reason than it is the only version with lossless audio. Knowing Warner, the other versions are probably only 640K DD/DD+.

Watch the Final Cut of the film with TrueHD if you have a speaker system capable of it. Make sure you double check your brightness settings for the first couple of scenes as they were a bit too bright and washed out for the first couple of minutes. Ridley's commentary is quite good. I haven't listened to the other two yet nor have I had the chance to watch the extra's.

Thanks for the replys, going down to watch the Final Cut first as I do have a TrueHD capable setup. Will report back. :)

Edit: Also I assume it is normal that the 2nd and 4th discs in this set are SD-DVD's and not BR discs like 1, 3 and 5?

Yup, Disc 2 is the documentary , that i haven't watched but I'm told it's very good. Disc 4 is other extra stuff. Disc 3 is all 3 version in HD @ 640kbps. The Final Cut sound mix is better than the others...
