Their site no longer lists the Kuros.

Yep. Consumer models aren't their forte. They look like they are aiming towards a different market. Maybe more B2B. Not sure.

Just went to their site and I see 3 pdp's from pio in there.
The 4280/6010 & the 5080.... All showing as in stock

But if you try to buy, it says they are not carrying it anymore.

Also, I noticed Newegg has stopped selling the new Kuro's.

Why would Visual Apex drop the meat in the Pioneer line? Might there be a disagreement / problem between Pioneer and Visual Apex?

Hey Guys -

Just catching up on some threads.

Pioneer restructured their internet market in regard to the KURO line, pulling it from a number of previously authorized dealers. This isn't a reflection on the dealers or a sign of any disagreements with Pioneer. Just a change in direction. Make sure to check Pioneer's site for the list of authorized dealers when looking to make a purchase online.

They are not listed on pioneer's website as an authorized online dealer.

Amazon.com is listed as an authorized dealer on Pioneer's website, but they are selling the 6010 and 110 through third parties that are not listed, will you get Pioneer's warranty if you do this even with the Elite?

Too bad Pioneer is limiting purchasing locations...I have bought twice from VA and had excellent service.

If that dealer is not on the authorized list then NO. Do a search on Pioneers website by zip code for Elite dealers.

they are plenty of reasons why, but my guess as to why the restructuring of authorized sellers....volume rules the roost,

Makes good business sense to me...nobody wants their products to be TOO readily available.
