I recently tried to connect my Macbook to my JVC DLP via the female HDMI receptacle in the back of my TV and despite scrolling through my various TV inputs i don't get a picture.

Am i doing something wrong? Is there a compatability issue between my HDTV and my Mac? Additionally is there a VGA to HDMI adapter for my PC? Maybe that might work better than my Macbook.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, you didn't explain what type of connection your trying to use and i don't have a mac but i believe the macbook has a minidvi port. So you will need the minidvi to dvi or hdmi converter and should be able to connect from that. I did a quick seach on google and found at link that might help.
