I have an older Monoprice 5x1 switch (not the newer ver 2.x they are selling now). I tried it with my new 42PZ77U but I couldn't get any picture on screen with all of my sources. If I plugged each of them directly to the TV everything is fine. It sounds like I have a handshake problem :( Does anyone have similar problem with this HDMI switch and the PZ77U? Do I need one of those newer version of their switches like the "HDMI 1.3a certified" ones? Have anyone tried to use the Monoprice "HDMI 1.3a certified" 4x2 switch w/ success? Thanks!

BTW, it works fine with my between my Panasonic AE700 projector and my 3 HDMI sources: Denon 3910, Toshiba HD-A1 and PS3. It also works with the Toshiba 42LX177 that I have had for a couple of days (returned for this Panny Plasma because of the green push problem). So, the switch is definitely functioning.

I just got the monoprice 4-1 hdmi switch and it doesn't work for me either :( Guess I'll send it back and just use component for my HR20...

Latest version?

Actually no, it was version 2.4. Seems they have upgraded it to a newer version. I may swap it out and see if that fixes me.
