I noticed something last night, im not sure if this is truly IR or just normal.... my panel is at 120 hrs (no break in dvd just regular content) contrast at 37, user mode, mid color...
i had the pats game on and it was halftime and i switched inputs on the tv just as the big white halftime report graphic was on the screen... and when i walked up near the screen on the blank input i saw the retention of the halftime report graphic... of course 1 second of any type of content takes it right away... so then i started playing around... if i have a blank input and the input label comes on when it turns off, the "input 4" image can still be seen...if any type of white text on black screen was on even for a second, and i quickly changed to a blank input i could see the retention...is this normal?? it doesnt seem to happen if i try it playing something with black bars and put it input label on, just on a blank input screen... i tried it again this morning but i cant see it, it may be only noticable when the room is dark...of course playing anything for a second takes it away, it can only be noticed when switching to a blank input so it would never be noticible during normal viewing...
