So i'm in a middle of contructing accoustic panel for my new HT. I currently can not find any Owens Corning 703 locally, and internet prices are just way too high.
Today i tumbled upon these sound board called Hush Board at Lowes. It is basically a sound proof board *fiberglass*
Have anyone used this board before? and is anyone know if i could anyway use it as accoustic panel? It is a 1/2 inch, very well messed fiberglass. if i hang it, how much space would be need? 1 inch?

thanks

No, it does not perform well as acoustic panel material.

but it would help right? the cost between the two type is pretty high. six 2X4 board of owens corning 703 would cost me more than 100 bucks when i could get eight of those hush board for under 20 bucks

Yes and no. It's kind of apples and oranges, since Hushboard is 1/2" and OC 703 is typically 1" thick. The absorption coefficents of Hushboard are about 1/3 that of the 703, so you will have to use approximately 3X the amount to yield the same net absorption for reverberation control. And I wouldn't consider it adequate for reliable control of early reflections.
