I have a question.

There is a video file "A" sitting on computer "B", and the Media Center is setup on computer "C"...following???

Computer "B" is wired...computer "c" is wireless....following??

The 360 connects through computer "c" (wireless) and points to a file on computer "B" (wired).

Will this WMV HD video "lag"??

Essentially the file is being transferred through the wired connection, but going through a wireless media center.

Thanks

Wireless usually does make HD video stutter because of the lack of bandwidth but the only way to know for sure is try. I say run some wires to your 360 somehow if you really want to watch the videos.

I believe since Media Center is essentially Remote Desktop, the file will be pulled to the PC running MC and sent on to the 360. The last link from the PC to the 360 needs to be wired (or, maybe, GOOD 802.11N) for 1080p HD. For 720p, it's a gray area since I've had no failures on the 720p stuff I've tried (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx) via 802.11G but none of those have been longer than movie trailers...

I have a MWV HD version of the POTC movies, they run at 20,859 kb/s and stream just fine from my PC to my 360 over wireless G. PC is upstairs, 360 downstairs.
