What exactly do the "Colour Space" and "My Colour Control" do ?

i just can't seem to figure out (find on internet)
what they really are?

so, what is the difference between Auto and Wide in Colour Space (i know colorspace.. just wondering WHAT space in these 2 settings)

and what do the Colour Controls do?
shift primary Green and Blue and secondary Magenta(pink) ?
White obviously sets the whitepoint ....

Color space... seems Wide is HD rec 709, and Auto will use either 601 or 709.

you want colorspace auto. I don't think wide is 709 though. But I'm not sure, I've never measured it.

i did measure them, that's why i ask
the values aren't very logical
wide is even smaller than auto

AUTO (HCFR 709)

WIDE (HCFR 709)

same weird stuff for the green, blue and pink controls
primaries barely change, saturation barely changes.. what are those controls supposed to do ?

unfortunately i can't find a servicemanual for this set, so i don't know if and how to change primaries etc. (i can get in the SM but too tricky without documentation for me)

i think ifigured it out

the color controlls seem to affect the saturation curve of that particular color at 50%
