When calibration shows a oversaturated primary (red in my case) is it proper to reduce the color decoder level of that primary to compensate? I guess the same could be asked in reverse for an undersaturated one. I have a Optoma HD3000 processor that allows me to change color decoder levels but doesn't seem to affect saturation so this question may not apply to a lot of other people but was wondering what the proper procedure would be. Thanks for your input.

I had asked this sort of question with my SXRD. Here is my summary of what I've read in these forums http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=12462215#post12462215 The last part would be relevant to what you're asking.
