I was just in my local Costco over the weekend, and saw that there were no more xbox 360 bundles sitting around the store.

I just went to the Costco website, and sure enough, the 360 has been stripped from there as well.

Now, this doesn't mean that Costco will never sell the 360 again. Costco could just be "prepping" a new 360 bundle to be released in the near future. Or, they could've seen that it was the most returned product for the past 2 years. One thing is for sure: when it comes to electronics, Costco does seem to stop selling products once they're "outdated." Here's to hoping that costco brings back the 360 - I'm currently on my 5th 360, and will be due for return and repurchase at Costco in the next few months.

Does anyone else have any more info on whether or not the 360's will be coming back to costco?

Here is hoping that MS puts out a 360 that is worth Costco's time! Hehe... I bought mine from walmart last year and no problems (knock on wood).

In any case, if you think about it, it really would be in Costco's best interest to not sell the console. They don't make much money on the systems themselves, and I highly doubt that they sell that many games and accessories. Really people just go there to buy the low profit margin systems with high failure rates...

No worries. There is a new bundle with COD4. My Costco didnt have any right after Xmas. Now they have tons. :)

Is this something you do with regular frequency or have you figured out how to predict exactly when the RROD will pop up?

If the former, that would be a good reason for Costco to stop selling them....people that abuse the return policy to keep a fresh console on hand, even though they've had no issues with the unit(s) they return.

costco inventory varies by store. video games always seems to be the last thing they want to order. when they have them though, they have pallets of them.
i wouldnt worry, just drive around to the next costco or call ahead for availability. luckily we have 4 costcos around L.A.

I was thinking the same thing, I was just in Costco yesterday and I called my friend who had been thinking of getting a 360 because I saw the COD4 bundle.

Thread title should read "Xbox 360 sold out at local Costco".
