So its time to work on my acoustics. I have ordered 2 panels for testing. They are Ownings Corning 2" panels.
my primary front right reflection point is a wall that can easily take a panel
My primary front left reflection point is a window that’s covered with heavy black drapes for light.
Im wondering what I should do for that window. When I have music playing, sound seepage out that window is extremely high. It’s typical glass so what would the reflection really be like??? So I am wondering if I should just place a panel in there. It has a good 6+ inch shelf and I could just lean one of the panels in it. No o0ne would ever see the panel behind the dark drapes.
Do you think I should do it?
My front screen is 133" and I can fit a good 4 panels behind it where no one could see them. How important do you think it would be to put panels like that in the front?
My room by and large is very problematic for placement of panels, especially on the sides where doors and windows are in the way.
