I'm new to the board, so forgive me if this is a redundant question. In an effort to shave the monthly bills I'm considering cancelling Comcast and trying an aerial antenna. I was wondering if there's anyway to find out if I can get reception in my area short of buying all the equipment and seeing if it works?
I'm in the foothills about halfway in between two markets (Stockton, Ca and Sacramento, CA). I wouldn't have any direct line of sight because like I mentioned I'm in the foothills.

Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto are all the same market, so all areas in the market are covered and there are plenty of folks who live near you.
